Dr. Derrick Desilva

Dr. Derrick Desilva has an interesting background. He's written in journals, published books, belongs to organizations, and much much more. He continues to literally see patients at a Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Desilva does TV appearances for networks like CNN, and does spots on the TV show "Extra".

But here's what I find interesting. Everywhere you look he ties himself to the "Eastern" way.

Imagine a REAL doctor actually caring for patients. On his site, www.askdrdesilva.com he puts this quote:

The inferior physician treats the disease once it occurs.
The mediocre physician prevents the disease from coming back.
The superior physician prevents the disease from ever occurring.

Dr. Derrick Desilva could take the easy road and prescribe something one week, and then something else the next week, but he actually spends his life trying to put human beings into a place where they will not get sick and not feel bad. Spending countless hours advising, consulting, and teaching people how to live a healthy "internal" life. Amazing huh?

I see he is the Nutritional Expert for a company called LiveSmart 360. They have natural, health products and nutritionals. How refreshing would it be to have Dr. Desilva help create products that work and that do you good, instead of just trying to get into your pocket book.

A man on a mission and congrats to LiveSmart 360 for getting someone like Dr. Derrick Desilva to call their own. Of course there will be skeptics - there always are. But Desilva and LiveSmart 360 sound like a pretty good team to me.
